All of the money raised will be evenly re-granted to the following three non-profit organizations including Philly Tree People! We are honored to have been selected as a recipient of this micro-granting initiative, but we need supporters to attend this fundraising dinner.

Hello Tree Friends! We are holding another tool sharpening workshop at GreensGrow Farm Saturday, March 24th from 12pm-2pm. Joe Shapiro, a long time friend and volunteer for UC Green, will show you how to take your hand shears, loppers and other pruning tools apart, sharpen and clean them, and put them back together again. (Please, no electric or gas powered pruning tools.) Follow the link and register for the workshop by 5pm March 22nd to secure your spot. There is a $20 registration fee that will be refunded to you in the form of a GreensGrow gift card at the end of the workshop. Philly Tree People will be supplying all of the necessary equipment and selling sharpening tool kits for a reasonable price.

Philly Tree People FREE!!! Tool Sharpening Workshop, hosted at Greensgrow Farm. Joe Shapiro, a hardworking volunteer for UC Green, will be demonstrating how to sharpen pruning shears and loppers. We will have all the materials for everyone to do hands on sharpening, so bring your dull tools! Joe will also demonstrate how to sharpen shovels and hoes as well, but please do not bring those!
